You Can. – A Poem

My life has brought a challenge,
I’m not sure why it came.
Blue skies that once we’re sunny,
now filled with clouds and rain.
Softly it was approaching,
appeared barely a clue.
I cared when it was others,
yet strange when now it’s you.
I want to face this bravely,
show others I am strong.
My family supports me,
but normal now seems wrong.
Dig, deep and search for answers,
find faith, knowledge and more.
We do not know the answers,
or what life has in store.
So love, laugh and be grateful,
tomorrow is unknown.
Your tribe, so kind surrounds you,
find strength, you’re not alone.
Each day’s a gift that’s given,
not meant as guaranteed.
We choose a daily focus,
our soul, and what we feed.
Find joy amidst the struggles,
With focus make a plan.
Walk tall accept the journey
you’re strong, you’re loved, you can!
