Letter T: Trajectory
This blog post is for the final letter in the Positive Impact Global Inspiration Project. It is for the Letter T in the word IMPACT.
A trajectory is defined as “a path, progression, or line of development resembling a physical trajectory.”
A physical trajectory is defined as “a curved path that an object takes as it moves through space.”
As you execute your own unique soul path on your journey through life, your life has an energetic trajectory.
Your current energetic trajectory is a measure of forward movement in your life, progress in your own personal growth and your relationships with others.
Is your current energetic trajectory pointed in an upwards positive direction? Or is it pointed in a downwards, negative direction?
Ask yourself, what is the current trajectory of your spiritual path? What is the current trajectory of the progression of your personal growth and maturity? What is the current trajectory of your spiritual growth development?
Is your current trajectory of all these areas the same or different? Are you happy with your current trajectory in each of these areas? Is there any trajectory in your life you would like to change? If so, which one?
Take a look at Love Infinity’s picture above. Her picture captures a number of ornamental water outlets each creating a physical trajectory for a stream of water flowing into a water fountain. The physical trajectory for each of the water outlets is a curved, arching path.
The water outlets all are connected to the same water source. However, even though the physical trajectory of the water flow from each of the water outlets looks similar, they are not identical. If you look closely at the picture you will see the angle and the size of the water flow and the splash pattern on the surface of the water fountain varies slightly for each water outlet.
Assume the water outlets represent you and the people in your environment. You and all the people in your environment all are connected to the same energetic source, the energy of the Divine. Just like in the picture, even though your energetic trajectory and that of the people in your environment may be similar, the angle and the energetic splash pattern of all these energetic trajectories are all slightly different and unique.
So how can you change your personal energetic trajectory to make a positive impact in your own life?
- Determine the Energetic Angle of Your Trajectory. Is the energetic trajectory pointed in an upward direction? If so, your energetic trajectory is based on positive emotions such as peace, love, joy, contentment, etc. You are living your life in an empowered state in which you are taking responsibilities for your own actions and co-creating the life you desire. Is your energetic trajectory pointed in a downward direction? If so, your energetic trajectory is based on negative emotions such as fear, guilt, shame, anger, etc. You are living your life in an dis-empowered state in which are blaming others for your current situation, seeing yourself as a victim and living your life based on the decisions of others.
- Determine Your Behavior Patterns and Emotional Triggers of Your Trajectory. To change the energetic angle of your trajectory, you need to change your behavior patterns. Behavior patterns are activated and repeated because of emotional triggers and initiate an automatic personal response in you. If you can understand your own emotional triggers and identify when they occur, you give yourself the opportunity to react in a new and different way than you may have done in the past. New reactions to your emotional triggers allow you to change your behavior patterns and allow you to change the energetic angle of your trajectory.
- Make New Decisions to Change Your Behavior Patterns to Change Your Trajectory. Once your have determined your behavior patterns and your emotional triggers, decide to make new decisions and practice new behaviors moving forward. Make new decisions based on positive emotions such peace, joy, love, courage, etc. Making new decisions based on positive emotions will attract new people, situations and events into your life that match the energy of these positive emotions. Making new decisions when your are triggered emotionally allows you to change the energetic angle of our trajectory and co-create the life you truly desire.
Taking steps to adjust the energetic angle of your trajectory will allow you to make a positive impact in the world.
